We are an established Ameriprise Field office with multiple Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practices dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals with integrity care and professionalism. As the first point of contact for our clients you will play an essential role in ensuring a warm and professional client experience while also keeping our office running smoothly. Position Overview
The Receptionist/Office Manager is a full-time non-exempt position (40 hours per week). This role is responsible for providing a positive and professional first impression for our clients while managing the day-to-day operations of the office. It is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented organized and enjoys balancing client interaction with behind-the-scenes support.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients ensuring a professional and friendly experience.
- Answer phones manage emails and provide administrative support to Client Service Assistants and advisors as needed.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail including scanning in checks and maintaining proper records.
- Manage office supplies vendor relationships and keep the front office tidy and organized.
- Perform light bookkeeping and record-keeping tasks.
- Assist with scheduling filing and other administrative projects to support the team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and client service.
Qualifications
- Prior office administration or receptionist experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Professional demeanor and client-service orientation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $21 - $24 hourly based on experience
