JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection storage and/or transcription
- Support codingand analysis of video and interview data
- Organize and maintain research files and datasets
- Conduct literature reviews and assist in summarizingfindings
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate student in education social sciences information sciences or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (data organization).
- Fluent English language writing speaking and comprehension.
- Ability to complete tasks on time without micromanagement.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a positive and productive way.
- Ethical engagement with all human subject data includingkeepingto confidentiality data archiving and privacyguidelines set by the project.
- Must (a) pass and maintain CITI trainingstatus and (b) become an authorized adult per AD39.
- Ability to carry and set-up research and educational equipment with or without an accommodation.
- Work on-campus and off-campus collectinghuman subjects data with youths and educators.
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of LDT100 or LDT110N.
- Prior experience workingwith children in educational or extracurricular contexts like after-school clubs.
- Confidence to admit when they do not know somethingand ask questions when necessary.
- Familiarity with or desire to learn qualitative research methods (e.g. coding thematic analysis).
