Job Summary
Telemetry Nursing also referred to as Progressive Care Nursing focuses solely on the monitoring of cardiac patients. These nurses are highly trained in using the latest electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) and telemedicine technology and are experts at identifying potentially dangerous heart cardiac patients are typically high-risk individuals Telemetry Nurses need to be able to assess and respond to a patients vitals as quickly and efficiently as possible. This makes for a fast-paced work environment suitable for natural problem solvers.
