The Role
We invite applications from skilled music educators with expertise in the French Hornto join ourco-curricular program. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced instructors seeking to impact the musical journey of students frombeginners to intermediate levels.
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) fixed-term position working approximately three days per week (Monday Tuesday Wednesday). The role will travel to all campusesToorak and Richmond and will be covering leave from27 January to 10 July 2026 (Terms 1 and 2).
Key Areas:
Expertise in French Horn performance with the ability to teach students from beginner to intermediate levels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills fostering positive relationships with students parents and colleagues.
Experience in individual and small group instrumental instruction within a school setting.
Organisational skills to manage a rotating timetable across multiple campuses.
About You
With a robust background in music education and a degree in education or tertiary music you are familiar AMEB and VCE syllabi.
Throughout your career you have demonstrated a strong capability to work with students of varying ages and skill level. Your experience has honed your performance skills in engaging and motivating students effectively.
