Join the Controls Capabilities and Frameworks (CCF) Directorate where we support consistent and effective ways of working across Supervision Policy and Competition (SPC)the FCAs largest front-line division.
Were looking for a skilled and supportive Business Analyst to contribute to strategic change within our Business Directed Change (BDC) department. Youll help deliver projects that strengthen our data-led outcomes-focused approach to regulation while enabling inclusive user-centred solutions through Salesforce service and transformation.
This newly created role offers the chance to shape new ways of working bringing business and technical teams together to improve our Regulatory Case Management System (RCMS). Youll use your strong analytical and communication skills to help drive meaningful progress and continuous improvement.
What will you be doing
Explore and document business needs through user journeys workflows and data insights ensuring clarity and alignment across teams
Partner with the Business Architect to shape inclusive effective design solutions that support our case management strategy
Lead engaging workshops to uncover challenges map processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Define clear actionable acceptance criteria and support delivery validation with the Business Product Owner
Contribute to ongoing enhancements of our case management tools encouraging innovation and adaptability
Use data-led insights to guide prioritisation across backlogs new ideas and strategic change initiatives

Minimum
Prior experience in business analysis within regulatory or financial services environments
Prior experience engaging senior stakeholders to gather requirements and support decision-making
Prior experience designing business processes using CRM tools to enable high-volume case management
Essential
Ability to produce clear well-structured documentation on complex topics for varied audiences
Strong data analysis skills with the confidence to translate insights into meaningful narratives
Proven success in delivering outcomes and making sound decisions in fast-paced product-led environments
Experience leading process improvements and supporting change through business case development
Comfortable working across matrix teams with a flexible and inclusive approach to delivery
Familiarity with Salesforce and case workflows with an understanding of systems data architecture and user-centred design
Skilled in problem-solving with a practical solution-focused mindset
Resilient and curious able to adapt and grow in evolving environments
