Job Summary

Summary:

Works with students staff and administration to improve students literacy skills and to develop and implement a long-range plan for literacy improvement at John Kerr Elementary School.

Qualifications:

Applicants should hold a Virginia teaching license with a Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement or be eligible for such.
Special Education endorsement and/or experience teaching students receiving Special Education services preferred.
Must have at least three years of successful classroom teaching experience in which the teaching of reading was an important responsibility.

Salary:
Range for the 2025-2026 school year is$53000 - $82843 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.

Full time / 10 month/ 200 Day Contract
