Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Support the Infrastructure Engineering Control Centre (IECC) Duty Engineer and Senior Operations Control Engineer IECC in monitoring the Signalling and Communication System at the Operations Control Centre (OCC) to ensure safe and reliable railway services
- Assist in monitoring the condition of equipment and installations in the OCC and OCC Complex as well as the performance of system-wide equipment including power and environmental control systems
- Work with team members maintenance contractors and other relevant parties to ensure safe and reliable operations and train services
- Report any abnormalities or failures in train services and infrastructure-related equipment to the appropriate engineering maintenance teams providing necessary information for recovery
Requirements
Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Electronic Mechanical Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license (classes 1 2) is preferred
Remarks
- Candidates with relevant experience but lower qualifications will also be considered
- Shift duties and the ability to work under adverse weather and emergency situations are required
- The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12000 subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme
