Human Resources Developer 9 to P11 levels -
Position Description

This position serves as a leadership development trainer responsible for providing leadership training and development opportunities for newly hired and promoted supervisors and continuous development opportunities for experienced managers/leaders. This position is responsible for implementation of job functional training for supervisors/managers as well as talent and leadership development training for all levels of staff. This entry level trainer/developer possesses knowledge as it relates to different levels of leadership and the knowledge and skill needed to perform supervisory management and leadership tasks effectively. This individual utilizes self-sufficient functioning skills organizational skills and the ability to effectively interact with others. This position carries out duties in accordance with CCELs commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.

Human Resources Developer12 level- Position Description
This position serves as a Senior Leadership Development Trainer responsible for leadership development training for all levels of staff and non-standardized programs/training topics. This position is responsible for implementation of general leadership training for newly hired/promoted supervisors and for ongoing in-service training for supervisors managers and first-line staff. This position is also responsible for engaging in analysis design development and evaluation activities related to leadership development training for both first line staff and management. The responsibilities of an HRD 12 involves all the functions outlined for that of an HRD 9-P11 in addition to overseeing work assignments in far greater complexity than others assigned at this level. These duties require individuals to plan and implement comprehensive training sessions seminars and collaborate with public and private sectors beyond the realm of an individual serving in the HRD 9-P11 position. This senior level developer possesses extensive knowledge as it relates to leadership development. This individual utilizes extensive self-sufficient functioning skills organizational skills and the ability to effectively interact with others. This position carries out duties in accordance with CCELs commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.

Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.

Experience
Human Resources Developer 9- No specific type or amount is required.
Human Resources Developer 10 - One year of professional experience in planning developing conducting or evaluating staff development training or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer.
Human Resources Developer P11 - Two years of professional experience in planning developing conducting or evaluating staff development training or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Developer 10.
Human Resources Developer 12 - Three years of professional experience in planning developing conducting or evaluating staff development training or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Developer P11.

Selective Position Requirement (SPR): Two or more years of experience in the delivery of one or more of the child welfare program areas: Childrens Protective Services Foster Care Prevention Juvenile Justice or Adoption.

Alternate Education and Experience

Human Resources Developer 9 - 12
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

Position Location/Remote Office:The physical location of this position is remote. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered. Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:

o A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
o A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
o Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.
