Haddad Hyundai a top-rated dealership in the Pittsfield area is seeking a Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients in need of automotive maintenance and repairs. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers handling their inquiries scheduling appointments and ensuring their needs are met. This is a full-time individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time salaried position with a competitive annual salary of $55000 to $80000 paid addition we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match paid time off and ongoing training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers to the dealership
Assist customers in scheduling service appointments and provide estimated completion times
Consult with customers regarding their vehicles issues and recommended services
Create detailed service orders and ensure accuracy of information
Communicate with technicians and provide updates to customers on the status of their vehicle
Upsell recommended services and products to customers and explain the benefits
Process payments and handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to company policies and procedures for quality safety and customer service
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient in using computer software for scheduling and record-keeping
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
