Responsibilities

We are expanding our Infrastructure team and looking for a Security System Engineer with a strong security this role you will work in an agile environment managing and securing SolarEdges hybrid cloud production infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to design scalable automated and secure solutions across our Data Centers and AWS environments.

What will you do:

• Manage and secure Linux and Windows systems in production environments
• Deploy and maintain virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and load balancing (NGINX)
• Implement authentication and security solutions (AD SSO PKI/SSL)
• Automate infrastructure processes using Ansible Terraform GitLab and Junkin
• Support hybrid cloud operations (on-premises AWS)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
• Share knowledge and best practices across teams
• Continuously improve security posture and system resiliency

Requirements:

• 3 years experience as a Linux Systems Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi
• Experience with NGINX LB WAF DoDOS setups
• Working knowledge of Active Directory SSO and PKI (SSL certificates)
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible Terraform GitLab PowerShell)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong teamwork collaboration and communication abilities
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
• Fluent English

Nice to Have:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems
• Experience with AWS (EC2 VPC S3 ALB Route53)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with NetApp storage solutions
