Job Description

RN- Critical Care Nurse Manager (Day Shift)
Location: Dallas TX 75201
Schedule: 12-hr Days 7am - 7pm
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Critical Care Nurse Manager to lead and oversee our acute care ICU team during day shifts. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills in a critical care setting with a focus on quality patient care staff development and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead mentor and manage the ICU nursing team to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet unit needs while adhering to budget and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Support professional development and training of nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies state regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Handle administrative duties including budgeting reporting and policy implementation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent (within the last year) acute care ICU critical care leadership experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross BLS provider certification.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross ACLS provider certification.
  • CCRN and/or CNRN certification preferred.
