Job Summary:

As a Project Manager in the Wood Products industry you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning execution and completion of our wood product projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams manage project timelines budgets and resources and be the key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will contribute to the continued growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans including scope objectives deliverables timelines and budgets in consultation with clients and stakeholders.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively including personnel materials and equipment to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within budget.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients providing regular updates on project progress addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and budgets.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all wood product projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship conducting inspections and quality checks as necessary.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets control costs and provide accurate financial reporting to senior management and clients.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts change orders and project reports.
• Project Closure: Oversee project closure activities including client handover final inspections and project evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Project Management Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Wood Products industry or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of wood product manufacturing processes and materials.
• Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• PMP certification (optional).
