Job Summary
AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager in Los Angeles CA.
Job details:
- Project Manager and group lead.
- Responsible for the overall management administration of the project and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policies.
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers enforces company and project policies and is a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Responsible for administering the project from the budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout.
- The position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects.
- Performs technical quality reviews including documentation in project records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Engages with project technical teams within the field of expertise to confirm project approach and review deliverables.
- Responsible for staff hiring performance reviews and team utilization.
- Proactively communicate and lead department staff.
- Contribute to the companys business development by helping with project bids.
- Maintain a good relationship with clients and other stakeholders.
- May telecommute.
Qualifications :
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 8 years experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Experience in highway design including preliminary to detailed design.
- Prepare construction documents including plans specifications and estimates.
- Oversight of inter-disciplinary design coordination.
- Coordination with project stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of design software such as MicroStation AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects.
