Rooted Life a leading provider of housing services for vulnerable populations is seeking dedicated and experienced local Housing Navigators/Housing Placment experts with a passion for business development. This position will play a pivotal role in expanding our services in various cities across the country focusing on filling beds and ensuring high occupancy rates. And earn residual income for every bed you fill!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to attract clients and referral partners in assigned cities.
- Cultivate relationships with healthcare organizations social service agencies and community partners to generate referrals and secure partnerships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for potential clients providing information about our housing programs services and eligibility criteria.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential clients housing needs and match them with appropriate housing options within our network.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from referral to admission coordinating logistics and addressing any barriers or concerns.
- Track and report on key performance metrics including occupancy rates referral sources and conversion rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends best practices and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Housing Navigator Housing Coordinator Housing Advisor Housing Outreach or similar role preferably with a focus on vulnerable populations.
- Proven track record of success in business development sales or marketing with a strong ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of housing programs eligibility criteria and community resources.
- Familiarity with data tracking and reporting systems to monitor and analyze performance metrics.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within assigned cities to establish and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work or a related field
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or other languages based on local community needs)
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary and commission-based structure rewarding the successful filling and occupancy of beds.
