Our client a company in the Fintech space is on the look out for an FX Sales Executive to lead and drive on-ground FX sales efforts in Nigeria onboarding SMEs and Corporates into the companys cross-border FX payment solutions. As the FX Sales Lead you will be responsible for achieving significant client acquisition and transaction volumes while building and motivating a team of sales reps and leveraging deep transactional banking relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities
Revenue Leadership and amp; Volume Growth
- You will lead and drive all on-ground FX sales efforts responsible for achieving monthly FX transaction volumes.
- You will actively onboard new SME and corporate clients into the companys cross-border FX payment solutions.
- You will leverage your personal and professional networks to deliver qualified warm introductions per month.
- You will master the art of solution-selling mapping client FX pain points directly to our cutting-edge offering.
Team Building and amp; Management
- You will build and actively manage a high-performing team of sales representatives.
- You will maintain operational discipline by running weekly sales calls and pipeline reviews.
- You will cultivate a culture of Excellence in Action setting and enforcing high standards for sales performance and accountability.
Operational Discipline and amp; Strategy
- You will drive seamless cross-functional execution to ensure clients are onboarded at the right time.
- You will provide structured monthly feedback on pricing competitor activities and evolving client needs to leadership.
What Success looks like
- Transaction Volume Growth: You will onboard clients to reach set monthly FX volumes within 6 months and achieve a set quarterly volume growth thereafter.
- Client Acquisition: You will acquire a specified number of new SME/corporate clients per quarter.
- Pipeline and amp; Reporting: You will consistently maintain multiple pipeline coverage and submit accurate weekly reports with 5% variance.
- Team Leadership: You will build and manage a team that achieves about 80% quota attainment.
- Network Leverage: You will deliver qualified warm introductions per month from your personal and professional relationships.
To be considered for this role you should have
- A minimum of 7 years of direct experience in FX sales treasury or transactional banking.
- Deep knowledge of FX payment flows compliance and transactional banking
- Proven success in onboarding high-volume SMEs and corporates for cross-border solutions
- An existing strong network of senior-level relationships within importer-heavy industries
- A demonstrated track record of leading coaching and motivated sales teams
- A history of consistently delivering monthly FX flow through corporate/SME portfolios
- A disciplined CRM usage and forecasting accuracy
