Job Summary

Job Title: Business Development / B2B Sales Representative - SaaS

Location: Cape Town South Africa

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities to achieve predetermined sales targets after successfully undergoing training.
  • Make outbound calls daily to create interest in products and services particularly focusing on AML sanctions screening aiming to generate new business leads.
  • Follow up on incoming leads to nurture potential business relationships.
  • Build and foster business relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software articulately and confidently.
  • Market and promote a portfolio of products by participating in industry-related events.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions while addressing inquiries regarding software features.
  • Respond to client requests for quotations (RFQ) information (RFI) and proposals (RFP).
  • Deliver professional and exceptional client service during all interactions with existing and new clients.
  • Provide technical advice on AML sanctions screening both pre and post-sale to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop quotes and proposals that align with client needs.
  • Negotiate and renegotiate terms via phone email and in person.
  • Assist other departments as required to foster team collaboration.
  • Attend all staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed and enhance skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software or Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Strong interest in B2B sales coupled with strong interpersonal communication and negotiating skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and management software.
  • Advanced computer literacy; Apple experience is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Reliable internet access at home and a valid drivers license.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Experience:

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant sales experience particularly in a SaaS environment is preferred.
