Job Summary
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of new insurance products and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product specifications development strategies and ensures technical requirements are translated and understood by key stakeholders.
- Ensure the product development complied with regulatory requirements and product filings.
- Develop and maintain product documentation including user requirements user stories and training materials.
- Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on data analysis and customer feedback.
- Support the launch of new products through training marketing and operational readiness.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the operation of insurance products and provide guidance to internal teams.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager or Company Management in accordance with organizational needs and priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degrees in business Actuarial Finance Mathematics and/or Statistics major (masters degree would be an asset)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance product development product portfolio management with a proven track record.
- Strong understanding of insurance principles product lifecycle and regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Expertise in advanced analytics data visualization with hand-on analytical solution development using SQL BI tools like Power BI Tableau Qlik etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical communication and project management skills certification in PM BA is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
