Job Summary
Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning execution and defect tracking ensuring functionality performance and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications databases and operating systems they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.
As a Senior Automation Tester at Endava you will be in charge of building developing and implementing automated tests to assure the quality of our software applications. You will take part in specific projects and work directly with our global stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user stories use cases and requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to define refine and optimize test cases.
- Execute testing at all levels including functional integration system and regression testing.
- Design develop maintain and enhance automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages.
- Identify document and track software defects and inconsistencies throughout the development cycle.
- Apply quality engineering principles and best practices throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain clear testing documentation.
Qualifications :
Technical Skills:
- Over 4 years of testing experience including 3 years specializing in automation testing.
- Proven ability to design and build automation testing frameworks from scratch.
- Hands-on automation expertise across both frontend and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of core software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in at least one programming language: Java JavaScript Python or C#.
- Extensive experience in UI manual and automation testing.
- Familiarity with Playwright and related technologies.
- Nice to have experience in Web Services / API automation testing.
- Nice to have solid understanding of performance testing techniques and tools.
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrates a strong eagerness to learn and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Skilled in identifying analyzing and troubleshooting issues with attention to detail and problemsolving mindset.
- Comfortable working in English-speaking environments with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced dynamic settings while maintaining high-quality work.
