Job Summary

This is a remote position.

HR Nerd helps small and mid-sized businesses with HR payroll and recruiting. Were expanding our staffing services and looking for a part-time recruiter to help fill client roles while improving our recruiting processes.

What Youll Do

  • Source and screen candidates for client positions (starting with a Legal Intake/Call Center Specialist role)

  • Conduct phone interviews and administer skills tests before presenting candidates to clients

  • Partner with our internal team to improve recruiting workflows

  • Mentor and train a junior recruiter on best practices (sourcing interviewing candidate evaluation)

  • Recruiting experience (agency or in-house) across multiple role types

  • Strong sourcing and interviewing skills

  • Organized detail-oriented and comfortable working independently

  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to teach others
