Utilizes UML tools to create Use Cases Class and Sequence Diagrams.
Mentors team members in technology and application delivery.
Collaborates with stakeholders to analyze requirements for Guidewire enhancements.
Translates business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
Configures customizes and tests Guidewire applications to align with business needs.
Provides support during system implementations and upgrades.
Participates in integration testing user acceptance testing and deployment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area related to PolicyCenter OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area elated to PolicyCenter.
Process reengineering; LEAN/Six Sigma experience
Experience with process modeling tools
Insurance application system design/analysis experience
Experience with use case development
Experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools/techniques
Preferred
Guidewire certification(s) (e.g. Guidewire Certified Professional).
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills:
