Process Engineer Utilities LNG
KBRs Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Process Engineer Utilities LNG support the Abadi LNG project one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
The Process Engineer (Utilities LNG) will develop and review Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). The Utility systems this role will be responsible for include Heating Medium system Fuel gas Water systems (Fresh water demin water potable water cooling water) Air and Nitrogen systems Wastewater and Sewage treatment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop utility systems description & utility balances & consumptions
- Perform Equipment Sizing for utility systems and Hydraulics calculation
- Responsible for Utility Systems FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering phases
- Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and environmental guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical electrical and instrumentation engineers
- Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies and other process safety reviews
- Prepare and review technical specifications datasheets and vendor documents
- Interface with clients licensors and regulatory bodies as required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering
- 4 years of related experience with average experience ranging from 6 - 10 years in the Gas processing or LNG industry
- Strong knowledge & experience in Utility systems; Heating Medium system Fuel gas Water systems (Fresh water demin water potable water cooling water) Air and Nitrogen systems Wastewater and sewage treatment systems
- Experience inFEED (Front-End Engineering Design)and detailed engineering phases of project preferably within utility systems
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g. API ASME ISO)
- Excellent analytical communication and teamwork skills
- Must have strong written & written English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering
