Overview
The Administrative Assistant (Triage) will perform a variety of administrative duties to include answering phones retrieving and routing phone and email messages to the appropriate department Clinical Services Coordinator support meetings and organize materials. This position is expected to interact with patients families clinicians and CASSI staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Promptly answer the Triage Screening line and accurately take and retrieve messages. Appropriately route and return calls answer questions and provide correct and timely follow-up as needed.
- Monitor and follow up on clinic voicemails throughout the day.
- Monitor and follow up on various email inboxes throughout the day.
- Serve as primary contact for the CASSI Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Workqueue in Epic.
- Respond to families providers and other CASSI staff in a timely and professional manner that is in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
- Appropriately determine which Clinical Services Coordinator or team is best equipped to help with patient/family inquiries.
- Provide regular administrative support to the Clinical Services Coordinator Triage team.
- Support the coordination of departmental meetings. Take transcribe and distribute meeting minutes.
- Complete special projects as requested.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or higher in human services healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Previous related administrative support experience preferred.
