Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as a First Assist in the OR and support pre- and post-operative care in the clinic setting.
Position Overview:
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our Chief of Surgery Vascular and Oncology Surgeons in the operating room acting as First Assist and will also participate in clinic responsibilities including pre-operative evaluations post-operative follow-up assist with inpatient rounding as needed and coordinating communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Physician Assistant license in NYS
- National Certification (NCCPA)
- Valid DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
