The Director Digital Strategy and Content Engine will lead the development and execution of our owned digital strategy and corporate content distribution strategy. This leader will oversee the development of strategic digital content from creation to dissemination across a broad array of LinkedIn Instagram Facebook X etc. and build global insights and analytics to drive data-based decisions and innovation (e.g. keeping pulse on whats next by building relationships with partners like LinkedIn). This role will also be responsible for building the Content Engine a content distribution model designed to drive reach and visibility of the company content towards measurable outcomes globally and locally.

In this role you will:

  • Lead development of digital engagement strategy and implement best-in-class channel strategy to expand target audience reach and build the companys reputation.
  • Use insights and data to drive decision-making and improve effectiveness of external digital communication programs including social listening social media interaction and engagement analytics
  • Serve as an expert and strategic partner to other functions within GCA
  • Design a content distribution model to amplify best-in-class multimedia storytelling utilizing owned social media channels paid social
  • Manage the planning development design creation production distribution and measurement of content across all company digital and social channels (owned and paid).
  • Ensure timely publication of diverse social content optimizing across social media channels.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging communications trends and digital technologies identify opportunities and assesses the impact build relationships with external partners like LinkedIn
  • Supervise writers and editors to ensure all content is on-brand consistent in style and optimized for search and all distribution channels; ensure writers and editors are working to best practices in grammar messaging writing and style. Review and proofread major digital content social media content advertisements and website copy
  • Maintain ownership of the quality and consistency of web standards content and structure for the corporate brand leveraging the company brand and style guidelines for all website communications

  • Bachelors degree required; Advanced degree preferred; 10 years of experience as a respected leader in multi-channel content creation. Proven track record in leading digital strategy at a large global organization is required.
  • Digitally savvy and experienced with a required and demonstrated comfort level working with data metrics and emerging technologies.
  • Possess expert presentation and communication skills and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Deep familiarity with a range of online campaigning tools tactics and strategies. Familiarity with AP style/editorial best practices; excellent editing grammar and copyediting skills. Strong writing skills
  • Previous experience leading a team specifically related to process project management or production.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills; ability to liaise with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders; Experience working in a global function and a matrix environment.

At Kimberly-Clark pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve thrive and grow. Along with base pay this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as location role skills performance and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
