The PrideReady Director partners with internal teams community leaders and subject matter experts to design launch and grow PrideReady - GenPrides training organizational development and consulting enterprise. Through funding from local government entities private foundations income generating services and individual donors PrideReady equips senior-serving organizations to create cultures that reflect the lived experiences and unique needs of LGBTQIA2S elders.
This role integrates program design training delivery and organizational/business development to expand GenPrides mission impact while generating sustainable revenue. By bridging community insight with organizational practice the PrideReady Director ensures that more aging-service organizations are ready to welcome affirm and celebrate LGBTQIA2S older adults.
Centered in aging racial and LGBTQIA2S equity the PrideReady Director is an entrepreneurial and collaborative leader who thrives on building new systems strengthening partnerships and aligning mission and revenue. They will shape PrideReady into a trusted and recognized training education and consulting resource across housing healthcare nonprofit and corporate sectors
This full-time exempt position is hybrid- working from home in the community and at the GenPride Center on Capitol Hill where frequent and regular interruptions are common. Some early morning evening and weekend hours are required. The PrideReady Director currently supervises one full-time hourly employee and works collaboratively across GenPride coordinating closely with partners consultants board members volunteers and supporters to advance shared goals.

GenPride is responding to a growing need to increase our focus on improving the systems and social environments in which LGBTQIA2S elders engage. Launching the PrideReady Training Series represents our intent to help create more places that welcome and support rainbow elders.
Primary Responsibilities
This role has four core focus areas:
Business Development & Partnerships (50%)
- Identify cultivate and secure fee-for-service contracts and partnerships.
- Develop pricing packaging and marketing strategies with GenPride leadership.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with institutions and sectors critical to LGBTQIA2S aging.
- Provide coaching facilitation and technical assistance to partner organizations to improve inclusivity in policies and practices.
- Develop systems for certification evaluation and continuous improvement.
Program Design & Delivery (30%)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and community elders to create and implement a comprehensive training and organizational development strategy that promotes culturally responsive aging services for LGBTQIA2S communities.
- Ensure design and delivery center racial aging and LGBTQIA2S equity.
- Adapt training for a wide range of partners across housing healthcare and business sectors.
- Manage and maintain learning platforms and tools to expand program reach and track outcomes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using participant feedback performance measures and impact on service quality; continuously improve offerings based on findings.
Communications & Visibility (10%)
- Position PrideReady as the trusted resource for LGBTQIA2S cultural humility training.
- Partner with staff to create proposals reports and marketing content.
- Pursue media speaking and partnership opportunities that expand reach and impact.
Internal Leadership (10%)
- Integrate equity commitments into program partnerships and organizational practices.
- Supervise and support facilitators contractors and team members as PrideReady grows.
- Track and report financial programmatic and impact outcomes.
- Contribute to shaping a mission-focused inclusive joyful and community-centered organizational culture.
Desired Qualifications
Tangible Skills
- 5 years of experience in training learning and development consultation and enterprise initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of LGBTQ communities aging services and the intersectional challenges faced by LGBTQ older adults.
- Proven success in business development fee-for-service growth or contract management.
- Expertise in adult learning principles instructional design and facilitation.
- Experience delivering training across diverse formats (workshops webinars e-learning coaching).
- Proficient with CRM and data systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Skilled in writing public speaking and storytelling.
- Knowledge of senior care and service systems in King County including retirement communities nonprofits and healthcare providers.
- Experienced in coordinating and collaborating with staff contractors and volunteer facilitators.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new technologies.
