The Role:
Entegris is seeking a highly motivated Operations Process/Digital Application Engineer to support our digital transformation journey for the Photolithography Filtration product lines. Thisrole will be responsible for building data transformation and visualization tools to help automate standardize and simplify making business decisions within the operations domain. The Photo Filtration product lines fall within the Liquid Micro-Contamination business unit which supplies the most advanced liquid filtration solutions to the semiconductor market in the world.
In this role you will:
Develop strong technical knowledge of both LMC manufacturing processes and the supporting data architecture with a special focus on Photo Bulk product lines and production processes as a starting point.
Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to build out the Daily Operations Cockpits for Photo Bulk a series of dashboards that are job function aligned to provide automated and consistent data relevant to the daily work for key functions within the operations organization.
Identify opportunities to bring new data sets into the Google Cloud Platform data lake to be used in the DOCs and predictive analyses.
Construct predictive analysis data dashboards pulling together and transforming data sets relating raw material production process and finished good data to solve technical problems and/or inform business decisions.
Maintain global scalability of dashboards and data structures built to enable translation to other LMC sites and eventually division wide application.
Support corporate Industrial Data Hub project and provide feedback to corporate project team to ensure corporate support is helping divisional operations achieve its goals.
Build and maintain relationships across the global organization to enable effective leadership and collaboration especially networking with other members of the global ops organization working on data visualization projects.
Communicate effectively across the organization (BU Operations NPI NPD R&D etc.) to drive results. Contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other members of the team and leadership.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering Data Science or similar
3-5 years of experience in operations/manufacturing support roles
Data manipulation and visualization skills using Power BI Tableau or similar
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing
Desire to collaborate with varied cross functional stake holders at all levels
Tenacity to drive projects to completion translating broad requirements into specific functionality or visuals to meet business needs
Ability to maintain positive/collaborative working relationships with cross functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Experience transferring and/or scaling up new manufacturing processes a plus
Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of Global Process Engineering team charter (10%)
