Part-time Registered Structural Engineer

Part-time Registered Structural Engineer (RSE) for Precast concrete component /MiC inspection at PRC / HK

Job Duty:

•  To conduct factory audits in person to precast concrete production factories in PRC and for Government projects in the factories to fulfil the requirement in PNAP APP-143 and ADV-36;

• To conduct in person / videotelephony for quality audit checking for the precast concrete component at the construction site of Government projects in HK

• To endorse the RSEs Audit Report

• To endorse the Audit Reports submitted by Authorized Signatory of the Contractor

• To endorse Architectural Audit Report (for MiC project)

• To carry out surveillance visits to each Prefabrication Yard every Six months or at least one visit over the period of prefabrication works

Qualifications :

• Shall be a Registered Structural Engineer in the register kept by the Building Authority

• Shall have been responsible for at least five or more relevant building projects in design checking or supervising of precast concrete construction or have at least six years experience in supervising and/or auditing precast concrete production factories

• Require purchasing Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) after appointment
