Be our next ISA Certified Arborist
Your work environment at EXP
We are seeking a talented and motivated ISA Certified Arborist / Landscape Designer to join our team. This hybrid role combines arboricultural expertise with creative landscape design supporting a variety of public and private sector projects including parks streetscapes infrastructure and development planning.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Conduct tree inventories health assessments and risk evaluations in accordance with ISA standards.
- Prepare Arborist Reports Tree Preservation Plans and Tree Protection Specifications
Collaborate with landscape architects and planners to integrate tree protection and planting strategies into design. - Assist in the preparation of landscape design drawings planting plans and construction documents.
- Liaise with clients municipalities and contractors during design and construction phases.
- Support permit applications and compliance with municipal tree bylaws and policies.
What your experience looks like
- ISA Certified Arborist designation (active and in good standing).
- Additional certifications (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification Utility Specialist etc.) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consulting or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario tree species urban forestry practices and tree protection bylaws.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Civil 3D and GIS experience is an asset.
- Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle for site visits
