Be our next ISA Certified Arborist

Your work environment at EXP

We are seeking a talented and motivated ISA Certified Arborist / Landscape Designer to join our team. This hybrid role combines arboricultural expertise with creative landscape design supporting a variety of public and private sector projects including parks streetscapes infrastructure and development planning.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Conduct tree inventories health assessments and risk evaluations in accordance with ISA standards.
• Prepare Arborist Reports Tree Preservation Plans and Tree Protection Specifications
  Collaborate with landscape architects and planners to integrate tree protection and planting strategies into design.
• Assist in the preparation of landscape design drawings planting plans and construction documents.
• Liaise with clients municipalities and contractors during design and construction phases.
• Support permit applications and compliance with municipal tree bylaws and policies.

What your experience looks like

• ISA Certified Arborist designation (active and in good standing).
• Additional certifications (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification Utility Specialist etc.) are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consulting or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario tree species urban forestry practices and tree protection bylaws.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Civil 3D and GIS experience is an asset.
• Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle for site visits
