Job Summary
ChubbsPhiladelphiaHouseCounselfirmRay Post Young & Barbichisseekinga Senior Casualty Attorney. The Casualty Attorney will handle a caseload of the firms arbitration and trial level matters including premises liability commercial motor vehicle and products liability cases.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must be an attorney licensed to practice in Pennsylvania state and federal courts should possess 7 years of defense litigation experience and should possesstheprofessional statureandbusinessacumenneededtobeaproductivememberofthe firm.
Thesuccessfulcandidateshouldalsopossess:
Experiencelitigatingpremisesliabilityproductliabilityconstructionsiteaccidentselevator accidents motor vehicle liability and employment law cases.
Enthusiasmandaptitudefortryingcasestoajurywithsometrialexperiencepreferred.
IndepthknowledgeofPennsylvaniastateandfederalcourtprocedurallawpleading discovery motion practice and pretrial techniques and strategies.
Goodoralandwrittenadvocacyskillswithademonstratedtrackrecordof summary judgment and/or appellate success.
KnowledgeofthesubstantivelawapplicabletoPennsylvaniacasualtydefenselitigation with analytical skills needed to address a variety of legal issues.
Proficiencyineffectivelyandstrategicallycommunicatingwithclientsclaimdepartment customers and law firm colleagues regarding litigated matters.
Demonstrateddeeply-ingrainedenthusiasmandskillsnecessarytoprovideexcellent customer service to clients claim examiners and internal customers within the firm.
Technologicalsavvytothriveasalitigatorinadigitalenvironment.
Strongteamplayerwillingtowork effectivelywithothersatalllevelsandtostepoutsidea defined role where required to advance the firms business.
Abilitytoworkindependentlyefficientlyandcarefullyinahighvolumeenvironment.
Excellenttimemanagementorganizationandattentiontodetail.
