Job Summary
- Effectively lead and manage activities and people in all phases of transportation civil engineering projects as well as manage project budgets schedules and client needs.
- Assure that designs plans and specifications are in accordance with federal state and local standards.
- Prepare and oversee detailed engineering analyses design technical reports etc.
- Create and foster a project team culture of superior service for the client.
- Interact with clients regulatory agencies and the general public as necessary through project addition work on business development activities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering field.
- Professional Engineer license in the applicable state you work or the ability to obtain license within 6 months.
- 8 years of experience in the design and construction of state MnDOT and MN CSAH highway projects preferred.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of project team roles and responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal state and local standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally.
