Responsibilities

Audit associates provide timely high quality client service with large and small companies in avariety of industries. They will develop strong working relationships while working closely with teams to understand clients businesses andchallenges.

Associates serve our clients by:

• Developing an understandingclients needs and expectations their business and industry accountingand control systems employees company values and industry-related IFRSissues

• Developing anddemonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach methodology and tools

• Performing audit proceduresand tests in accordance with RSM audit methodology based overall auditplan ensuring proper documentation of work performed

• Identifying accounting andauditing issues; discussing with audit in-charge to solve issues thatarise

• Assisting engagement teamin preparation of audit reports and management letters

• Exercising professionalskepticism judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements

• Ensuring that documentationis compliant with quality standards of the firm

• Working collaboratively asa part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM auditprofessionals supervisors and senior management in Canada on a dailybasis

• Taking ownership ofassigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence throughprompt responses to internal and external clients

• Providing timely highquality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations includingcoordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan andclient deliverables

• Understanding RSM and RSMDelivery Centers line of business service offerings and work as a team inproviding an integrated service delivery

• Ensuring professionaldevelopment through ongoing education

• Participating in a range ofprojects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams;demonstrating critical thinking problem solving initiative and timelycompletion of work

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in Commerce/MBA

• Qualified CharteredAccountant / CPA / ACCA

• Fresher 1 year of relevant experience

• Strong Data Analyticalskills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups pivot tables and basicformulas) Word and PowerPoint

• Strong multi-tasking andproject management skills

• Excellent verbal andwritten communication (English) as the position requires frequentcommunications with RSM International clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Non Assurance services (PCR) preferred.

• Strong Data Analyticalskills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups pivot tables and basicformulas) Word and PowerPoint

• Qualified CA Freshers with Articleship

• Qualified ACCA/CPA Fresher

• ACCA/CPA Pursuing (half-way through the qualification)
