You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAn exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join the team at Epworth Hospital Geelong. This part time role (24 hours per week) will operate across the site within inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services and potentially on acute clinical wards.
The Allied Health Assistant works alongside the Allied Health Professionals to support clinicians and patients in a broad range of clinical and administrative tasks.
The role provides for great variation in your day and will include supporting Physiotherapists with the delivery of group based and individualised patient care. There may be opportunities to assist in other clinical areas as required for instance; Exercise Physiology Occupational Therapy Speech Pathology and Dietetics.
You will play a significant role in the effective and safe running of hydrotherapy services at Epworth Geelong and be exposed to a wide range of patient cohorts.
You will be surrounded by an excellent high functioning and supportive Allied Health team keen to assist you to learn within the role.
