Laboratory Support Technician

Eurofins Built Central Environmental Testing is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician to join our Naperville IL team! 

The Laboratory Support Technician is responsible for facilitating and providing support to login creation sample management support and general laboratory setup for testing. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regular attendance and punctuality

• Time Flexibility

• Collect samples from on-site drop box

• Unpack and packs shipments and document receipt of sample

• Organize and record samples

• Couriering to Clients as needed 

• Data entry into LIMS

• Maintenance of the department and lab including stocking supplies and housekeeping

• Quick hone and email correspondence with clients

• Review analytical reports quickly and accurately

• Scan and send out reports in a timely manner

• Assist with customer services

• Handle interactions with walk-in clients

• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Education/Experience :

• Previous customer service or laboratory operations experience preffered. 
• High school diploma or equivalent further education in biological or chemical science preferred
• Experience in a fast pace work environment
• Position required valid drivers license and reliable mode of transportation 

Ability and/or Skills:

• Strong communication and written skills 
• Strong computer knowledge organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivated adaptable and a positive and high energy attitude
• Handle moderate stress in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English

Additional Information :

This role will be a full time role first shift position with hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The position will require hours to be scheduled either Monday - Friday or Tuesday- Saturday depending on business unit need.  

Starting Range for position is $17.75/hr based on experience
