Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in enhancing a newly implemented bank teller management system. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business analysis efforts for these enhancements including gathering and documenting requirements from tellers branch managers and business leads performing gap analysis and collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical expertise excellent communication skills and exceptional Business Analysis abilities with a focus on financial systems.

Project Description: Implement enhancements for the newly implemented teller management system (EBX).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business analysis efforts for these enhancements including gathering and documenting requirements from tellers branch managers and business leads performing gap analysis and collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical expertise excellent communication skills and exceptional Business Analysis abilities with a focus on financial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Business Analysis activities working with Product and UX partners for technically complex solutions.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders including bank tellers and branch staff and business leads through interviews workshops and surveys.
- Analyze business requirements to identify pain points inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the bank teller management system.
- Conduct gap analysis to assess the differences between the current system functionality and the desired state highlighting areas for enhancement.
- Work closely with technical teams (product managers User Experience architect developers testers) to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of system enhancements.
- Develop use cases and user stories to capture the functional requirements of system enhancements ensuring all user needs are met.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Facilitate backlog grooming and refinement sessions to ensure user stories are well-defined estimated and ready for development.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical requirements for system implementation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix to ensure that all requirements are accounted for and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
- Guide and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the system meets the business requirements and user expectations.
- Strong understanding of business analysis principles methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working on a newly implemented system and a focus on enhancements.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Experience documenting complex technical APIs system integrations and data flows.
- Proficiency in requirements management and documentation tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address potential risks and challenges proactively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- 5 years of experience in business analysis preferably in the banking industry with a Fintech.
- Bachelors degree in business administration computer science or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of bank teller operations and financial regulations.
- Understanding of Product Management.
