Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) together with its investment advisory affiliates has $1.66 Trillion in assets under management or supervision as of December 2024. Morgan Stanley Investment Management strives to provide outstanding long-term investment performance service and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base which includes governments institutions corporations and individuals worldwide.
TEAM PROFILE:
The Product Analyst serves as an extension of the Institutional Portfolio Managers and Product Managers for the Emerging Markets Debt investment team. The Product Analyst works closely with the Product Managers focused on data needs for the teams strategies spanning currency interest-rate and credit markets around the world. The Product Analyst is responsible for marketing and client-service-related functions on a subset of the investment teams strategies. The Product Analyst assists with product-related data matters for the sales marketing RFP legal and compliance teams. Responsibilities include coordinating and updating presentations data needs for RFPs separate account client books client reporting sales ideas and marketing data for websites. Responsibilities also include ad hoc client and prospective client requests.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain a comprehensive and ongoing understanding of all Emerging Markets Debt investment strategies and markets serving as a partner to the IPMs and Product Managers.
Interface with internal audiences and responds to product-related questions and data requests.
Oversee the quality and integrity of client- and market-facing investment communications and marketing material.
Provide sales and marketing support for assigned investment products.
Update and maintain regular monthly/quarterly client data requirements.
Assist with the creation of presentation materials for sales meetings and client requests.
Respond to ad hoc requests for portfolio attribution characteristics holdings etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with strong academic record.
Strong knowledge of global fixed-income markets.
Highly effective communication capabilities
Ability to prioritize and handle competing requests.
A strong attention to detail and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Strong technical skills: Excel Aladdin Zephyr eVestment Morningstar Direct; Tableau programming skills preferred.
1-2 years related experience preferred.
