Team mission
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven (Senior) Account Manager to join our Greater China Sales Team. Based in the Hong Kong office you will play a pivotal role in GetYourGuides growth by managing and expanding relationships with our most important accounts in the Mainland China region. At the forefront of the travel experience industry you will support GetYourGuides mission to create unforgettable experiences for travelers in Mainland China.
You will:
- Develop and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with our largest and most complex accounts focusing on their success and maximizing their value on the GetYourGuide platform.
- Identify and lead growth initiatives with your top accounts from idea generation to implementation project management success tracking and reporting. Leverage internal cross-functional partners when appropriate.
- Pitch and win defined opportunities such as bringing new activities online increasing availability and negotiating improved commercial terms and supplier operations.
- Solve customer and supplier issues including maintaining a low cancellation rate and ensuring high-quality product delivery.
- Review activity performance provide regular reports and insights and proactively share opportunities for improvements to ensure account success.
- Educate suppliers on how to use our backend tools to maximize their performance and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with tourism trends and the competitive landscape in your destinations ensuring our offerings remain best-in-class.
Who you are
- At least 5 years of : B2B OTA tech or e-commerce sales experience with a proven track record of handling large and complex accounts and exceeding targets.
- Fluent in Mandarin (native as a plus) and native in Simplified Chinese writing with excellent English communication skills (written and spoken); experience in an English-led international workplace.
- Thrive in meeting and exceeding sales targets; self-motivated innovative and data-driven.
- Strategic and results-focused with strong business acumen and the ability to influence both internally and externally.
- Excellent relationship-building communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills adept at influencing decision-makers across all functions.
- Experience working efficiently with CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus).
- Passionate about travel customer-centric and eager to make a meaningful impact.
- A true team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and partners.
