Job Summary

Are you passionate about helping students find their voice Were on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the charming city of this school-based role youll work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in achieving their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP utilizing engaging and effective techniques.
Document student progress and collaborate with the educational team to adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.
Provide a supportive and encouraging environment to foster student confidence and growth in communication skills.
Maintain organized therapy materials and keep accurate records of sessions.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
Valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state of Florida.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to student interaction.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
