Job Description

Job Title: Veterinary Anaesthetist

Location: Northwest Veterinary Specialists Runcorn

Job Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 36 hours per week with one night per week on call and a share of the weekend on call rota

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency-trained anaesthetist to join our amazing team on a1-yearfixedterm contract withalikely possibilityto extend to a permanent contract.

We are a friendly collaborative and experienced anaesthesia team consisting of 3 anaesthetists (2 ECVAA diplomates and 1 residency trained board eligible anaesthetists) and one VTS anaesthesia nurse.

  • State-of-the-art facilities Imaging includes digital radiography fluoroscopy (C-arm with subtraction and road-mapping) ultrasonography and a high-field 1.5T MRI and CT. Inpatients are supported 24/7 by dedicated RVNs and veterinary interns.
  • Work closely with other referral centres in our group to facilitate clinical research and access to shared expertise.
  • Accessible location An easy commute from Chester Liverpool North Wales and Manchester with excellent transport links airports and access to beautiful national parks forests and mountains.

What were looking for

  • Eligible to work in the UK and MRCVS
  • Ideally ECVAA or ACVAA Diplomate or board eligible candidate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
