About This Role:

Were seeking a bilingual accounting specialist to join one of our client teams in Colombia. This person thrives in a high-level analytical environment loves working with numbers and is passionate about translating financial data into actionable insights.

As the Accounting & Management Reporting Specialist you will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and management reports leading client conversations and guiding decision-making with clear financial insights. Over time you will also support and mentor a Medellín-based team ensuring reports are accurate insightful and delivered with excellence.

This role requires a strategic thinker excellent communicator and tech-friendly accountant who can manage complex financials provide high-level advice and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Understand client structures operations and goals to provide tailored financial guidance.

• Communicate proactively with clients in both English and Spanish.

• Mentor future team members in Medellín to maintain accuracy and reporting quality.

• Analyze financial data and help design optimized strategies.

• Identify trends risks and opportunities in client financials.

• Maintain high standards of accuracy integrity and professionalism.

• Stay updated with accounting best practices regulations and technologies.

• Continuously improve internal processes and train team members.

Software/Platforms/Tools:

• QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)

• Excel / Google Sheets

• Data analytics and reporting tools

• Communication platforms (Zoom Slack Email)

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of freelancing experience.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills in both.

• Minimum 5 years of high-level accounting experience in client-facing roles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or ability to learn quickly).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to present recommendations to clients with clarity and confidence.

• Goal-oriented persistent and hardworking.

• Tech-savvy and adaptable to new systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US EST
