Summary:
The Senior Accounting Manager will lead core accounting operations financial reporting and internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies while driving process improvements across accounts payable payroll and general ledger functions. This role also supports budgeting forecasting and audit processes collaborates cross-functionally to deliver financial insights and supports ERP system implementations and optimization.
In This Role You Will:
- Accounting Operations: Partner in overseeing daily accounting operations including accounts payable payroll general ledger and fixed assets ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Payroll and Commissions Management: Partner with the People team Sales and Accounting to effectively manage and process payroll and commissions.
- Month-End Close: Work with the Controller to drive the month-end and year-end close processes including the preparation and review of journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements.
- Financial Reporting: Work with the Controller to prepare accurate financial reports for senior management including income statements balance sheets cash flow statements and variance analysis.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes by providing detailed analysis and insight into financial performance cost control and variances.
- Audit & Compliance: Support the preparation for external audits and collaborate with auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and regulatory filings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments such as People Operations Supply Chain and Sales to provide financial insights and support for decision-making processes.
- ERP System Management: Support maintenance and optimization of NetSuite to ensure accurate financial data and reporting capabilities.

Who You Will Report To:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively acrossdepartments.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 12 years of accounting experience
- Experience in the medical device or manufacturing industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting general ledger and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Ability to resolve complex technical accounting transactions.
- Experience with cost accounting inventory management and financial analysis in a manufacturing or product-driven environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite Paylocity Concur) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical device industry regulations and reporting requirements including HCP reporting.
- Experience with audit preparation and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
