Construction Project Manager
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX Inc. a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide supportive services for our government client.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspection and project management services for Sustainment Restoration and Modernization (SRM) and Military Construction (MILCON) projects.
- Coordinate pre-final and final inspections and assist in punch lists development.
- Review Requests for Information (RFI) from the contractor and draft potential responses.
- Prepare and maintain contractual and financial documentation specifications cost estimates field notes and inspection records.
- Perform limited technical design to produce drawings specifications and/or statements of work for construction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass a Tier 1 government background check
- Must have 4-5 years experience with construction management or civil engineering.
- Must have a bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering or related field.
- Must have experience preparing and reviewing technical designs/drawings for construction.
- Must have experience with SRM and MILCON projects.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and government contracting.
- Prior work experience on DoD or federal government facilities.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit or similar design software.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering within scope budget and timeline.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Primary work location: On-site Alpena MI
