Job Summary
One of our customers is searching for an Assembler!
Summary:
Performs assembly and quality inspections to product manufactured and sourced in the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Use and follow written work instructions samples or other publications to perform assembly operations to parts/product.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices as related to production and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks through visual inspection and/or operate assembled parts to ensure all products are in compliance with company standards.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with company guidelines.
- Complete accurate documentation and record number of product or parts produced.
- May be required to do production/light assembly or any other company duties depending on workload.
- Manually pack parts into various sized containers.
- Inventory scan and record quantities of finished products.
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness in machine and work areas.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in manufacturing or working with small hand tools in assembly or maintenance
- The ability to fluently read write and speak in English
- Have access to reliable transportation to the work site
- Flexibility to work first or second shift depending on business needs
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screen
Physical Demands:
- Ability to use/manipulate small hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to a height of 30
- Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
- Ability to sit in a stationary position for long periods
