Pro Machs Brenton division is seeking a mechanical assembler to contribute to the success of the company by providing assembly support for Orions products. This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor is based in our Alexandria MN facility and is for our first shift.
Brenton based in Alexandria MN is a leading manufacturer of case packers palletizers shrink-wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20000 customers worldwide. Through multiple brands Pro Mach provides product packaging and processing equipment PMMI-certified training installation parts and service for primary and secondary packaging flexible packaging end-of-line packaging and identification and tracking. Are you motivated about this work
- Perform most mechanical pneumatic and some electrical assembly operations.
- Read and understand assembly drawings adhere to customer specifications and assist in the test and final adjustments of the machine.
- Fit and align all components on a machine follow and adhere to all Brenton/Orion quality and assembly standards.
- Must be able to be forklift certified.
- Mechanical installation includes: lube lines cams align and adjust gearboxes and drive lines motors chain sprockets etc.
- Assist customer personnel in the installation start-up and training of Orion machines and systems.

Base Hourly Range: $20.00-$29.00

- 2-year technical college degree with 2-4 years of Mechanical Assembly experience preferred.
- Excellent Mechanical / Electrical capability or capacity to learn.
- Solid mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Potential to be a motivator / leader.

- Educator - good verbal and written presentation organized good planner good interpersonal skills.
