Job Summary

Nanobiosym is on the cusp of rewriting the rules of personalized medicine novel technologies and healthcare delivery. Awarded the first ever X-PRIZE for healthcare and a recipient of multiple other prestigious peer-reviewed funding awards Nanobiosym is currently adding to its talented team as it expands into a global commercial enterprise.

We are seeking strong candidates to work in a dynamic team environment of physicists engineers and multidisciplinary scientists. The job responsibility will primarily include product assembly by following Work instructions test data collection and contributing to existing documentation as required.


Duties:

  • Assemble products according to the established documentation
  • Critique documentation for efficiency and redline as necessary- be a contributor.
  • Manage production travellers and the device history record.
  • Assist in the installation of new manufacturing equipment fixtures and tools for continuous process improvement.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cycle time improvements.
  • Manage production workflow and yield. Maintain productivity metrices.
  • Individual must manage the manufacturing process fellow technicians assemblers and documentation. The right candidate may be able to move into a management role in the future.
  • Assist with equipment calibration scheduling tool management etc.
  • The individual will wear multiple hats and perform different tasks as needed.
  • Participate in engineering quality and regulatory activities etc.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate must have 5 years experience in medical device manufacturing in a regulated environment and be familiar with ISO13485 and 14971.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
  • Wire and cable routing experience with connectors and soldering.
  • Must be able to follow manufacturing documentation and facilitate changes or corrections.
  • Knowledge of lean production methods desired.
  • Individual should be a motivated self-starter who handles multiple activities at the same time.
  • Candidate must thrive in a startup organization poised for growth.
  • Willing to work in a security conscious environment.
