Warehouse Material Handler Responsibilities a few of those responsibilities are:

1. Receive all material machinery chemicals and supplies.
2. Verify shipments against purchase orders and examine upon arrival.
3. Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks checking in merchandise matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
4. Maintain record keeping systems and mark material with part numbers date and lot codes revisions etc.
5. Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
6. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
7. Read customer orders work orders shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
8. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
9. Sort and place materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style and color or product code.
10. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.

Warehouse Material Handler Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of relevant warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to obtain sit-down forklift certifications

Warehouse Material Handler Shift Schedule Monday Friday from 8am to 5pm.
