About The Role
As a Risk Operations Data Analyst based in Melbourne youll transform complex datasets into clear actionable insights. Youll collaborate across teams to refine risk reporting detect anomalies and fuel smarter decision-making. With a blend of analytical rigor and operational support youll help safeguard and optimize FanDuels expanding sportsbook empire.
What Youll Do
- Drive risk reporting and analytics to identify and address performance gaps.
- Develop scalable automated reporting solutions that streamline risk detection.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance risk frameworks and tools.
- Monitor KPIs surface anomalies and support proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Translate data into compelling insights that empower operational excellence.
- Work a mix of weekdays and weekends to support our dynamic operations.
About You
- Prior experience in data analysis with strong SQL and Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement through automation.
- Experience in sports betting or similar industries is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Computer Science or Data Science highly valued.
- Familiarity with Visual Basic or Python is a bonus.
- A proactive collaborative mindset and flexibility to work across time zones.
