Patient Navigator Trainer (East Coast Remote Travel Required)

Position Summary
As a Patient Navigator Trainer you will play a critical role in preparing our Patient Navigator team to succeed. You will deliver engaging effective training on HALOs diagnostic offerings supporting both remote and in-person learning. This position requires frequent travel to support new site launches and provide hands-on guidance to new Navigators. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of HALOs precision diagnostics program and the quality of care we deliver to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and support Patient Navigators in effectively communicating HALOs precision diagnostic services to patients.
- Deliver remote and onsite education and support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Provide in-person training and support during the launch of new partner sites.
- Address frequently asked logistical and clinical questions during training; transition ongoing support to appropriate reporting structures post-training.
- Collaborate with internal teams to review and update training materials as needed.
- Assist with special projects and maintain regular communication regarding timelines and progress.
- Follow defined escalation pathways and communication protocols.
- Serve as a temporary onsite Navigator when needed due to staffing gaps.
- Maintain professionalism punctuality and a clean working environment while on-site.
- Foster strong working relationships with on-site partner staff.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in training entry-level healthcare administrative staff.
- Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time across the East Coast and potentially across the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in healthcare genetics or diagnostic imaging.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with healthcare training experience.
- Experience in gynecology (GYN) cancer care or related patient navigation fields.
