About The Role
We are seeking an experienced IBM Developer with strong expertise in Java and hands-on exposure to IBM tools/platforms. The role involves designing building and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions while also benefiting from specialized internal IBM training to deepen expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies.
- Work with IBM platforms (e.g. WebSphere MQ IIB DB2) for application development and integration.
- Participate in internal IBM training programs to enhance platform-specific expertise.
- Collaborate with architects business analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs web services and backend components.
- Conduct code reviews testing debugging and performance optimization.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of development experience in Java
- Some level of hands-on experience with IBM technologies
- Strong understanding of OOP design patterns and enterprise application development.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases (DB2 Oracle SQL Server etc.).
- Good problem-solving debugging and communication skills.
