Overview
We are looking for experienced Developers to participate in the migration of legacy applications to modern C#/.NET solutions. Candidates should bring strong technical proficiency and preferably some familiarity with legacy languages such as COBOL C or FoxPro.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features functionality APIs.
- Participate in AI-assisted code conversion and modernization activities.
- Collaborate closely with AI specialists to validate generated or transformed code.
- Reverse engineer existing legacy monolith applications to implement cloud native solutions using microservices/ serverless architecture in AWS.
- Support CI/CD integration and automated testing pipelines.
- Review code changes ensure secure coding practices and corporate defined best SDLC practices are followed.
- Partner with cross functional teams in the organization to understand customer and business priorities.
- Support modern roadmap items like CDP and generative AI.
- Agile team member be a self-starter and work independently with minimum supervision to achieve team and individual goals.
Required Knowledge
- 8 years of experience developing applications /C#.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar development environments.
- Strong debugging testing and optimization skills.
- Strong knowledge and prior working experience relational databases such as MSSQL MySQL
- Prior experience working with remote teams spread across time zones using collaborations tools and application development practices.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of at least one legacy language (COBOL C or FoxPro)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor AI Copilot).
- Knowledge of Microsoft development tools such as Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline
- Exposure to reverse engineering or system replatforming projects.
- SQL Server experience.
