Job Description
Electro-Mechanical Technician 2nd Shift Lead Troubleshooter
Direct Hire: Full-Time 2nd Shift 3-11pm Some OT Required
A growing well-respected manufacturer is looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to take the lead on 2nd shift. If youre a natural problem-solver who thrives on keeping things running and enjoys being the one others rely on this could be the role for you.
In this hands-on position youll be the primary troubleshooter for electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems help drive preventive maintenance and support cross-training efforts on your shift.
What Youll Do:
Lead troubleshooting of equipment and automated systems (PLCs drives pneumatics hydraulics etc.)
Perform and enhance preventive maintenance activities
Ensure tools inventory and documentation are well maintained
Champion workplace safety standards (LOTO Arc Flash etc.)
Help train and support technicians and operators
Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams when needed
Stay informed on automation trends and emerging technologies
Respond to off-shift calls and assist with critical repairs as needed
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Trade certification technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong troubleshooting skills across PLCs schematics and controls
Valid drivers license or ability to obtain
Proficient with lifts shop equipment and power tools
Solid computer and communication skills
